Founder And Co-Founder.
Our Founders’ Story
Fields of Love was born from a shared prompting of the Holy Spirit and a deep compassion in the hearts of Iroro and Yvonne for children and families.
From a young age Iroro has always felt a natural pull towards children. When she became a mother herself, prayer and reflection revealed how many children are being shaped by poverty and spiritual gaps that follow them into adulthood, and that if children are nurtured early, spiritually, emotionally, and physically, they would grow into grounded, empowered, Christ-centred individuals who can influence their world positively.
Yvonne’s passion for helping others began in childhood, when she joyfully shared food with families in need. What started as simple acts of kindness grew into a lifelong calling to serve and uplift others. As a nurse, her compassion deepened, strengthening her desire to make a difference beyond the hospital setting.
What began as a shared burden became a united vision: to plant seeds of hope, restoration, and dignity in the lives of those who need it most. This is the heart of Fields of Love Initiatives.
Who We Are
Fields of Love Initiatives is a non-profit organisation committed to seeing every child flourish. Inspired by Christ’s unconditional love, our mission is simple: no child should ever know lack—spiritually, emotionally, or physically.
We aim to provide essential care, nurturing healthcare, educational support, and spiritual direction that empowers parents and uplifts vulnerable families.
At our core, we are answering the mandate of Isaiah 58:12, to rebuild the ancient ruins and raise up the foundations of many generations. We are a community of believers united by one sacred assignment: to plant seeds of hope, restore dignity, and build futures rooted in God’s grace, ensuring every life, beginning from conception, has the love, belonging, and opportunity to thrive.
